Telescope

The Fitchburg Public Library has available to borrow an Orion Star Blast Altazimuth Reflector telescope with a 4.5" diameter aperture and fast f/4 focal ratio . Check out the rings of Saturn, the Andromeda Galaxy or the craters of the moon with this easy to set-up but excellent optical telescope.

Be aware that this telescope may only be checked out for a one week loan, and must be returned to a staff member at the Information/Reference Desk. Also, the borrower must be a Fitchburg resident who is 18 years old or older. A valid ADULT library card and a current photo ID must be presented at checkout.

Borrowers must be 18 years of age or older, in good standing with the library with nothing owed on the card.

Children under age 18 must be supervised by an adult while using the telescope.

This telescope can be reserved through our Museum Pass Reservation System.
