Voting by mail is available to ALL voters for the September 1st State Primary and the November 3 State Election (Presidential Election). You do not need an excuse to vote by mail this year.

To vote by mail, all you need to do is:

Complete a Vote by Mail Application.

Deliver your Vote by Mail Application to the City Clerk’s Office by (choose one option):

U.S. Mail to City Clerk, 166 Boulder Drive, Fitchburg, MA  01420

E-mail to vote@fitchburgma.gov

Hand-delivered to the City Clerk’s Office by placing it in the secure RED Mail-Drop Box in front of City Hall (166 Boulder Drive).

Applications for a State Primary ballot must reach the City Clerk’s Office by the close of business on Wednesday, August 26.

State Primary ballots must be returned to the City Clerk’s Office by 8 p.m. on September 1.

Please apply early in order to allow enough time to return your ballot.
