Directions to City Hall
From the East
From Route 2, take the "South Street" exit off of Route 2. Make a right at the end of the ramp, then an immediate left at the light. Proceed north on Whalon Ave (which becomes South Street) approximately three miles to the end of South Street at Laurel Street. Turn right onto Laurel Street, and then turn left at the light, the Water Street Bridge. At the end of the bridge turn left onto Main Street. City Hall is approximately one-half mile on the left - 718 Main Street.
From the West
From Route 2, take the Route 31 exit. At the end of the ramp, turn left onto Route 31 (Princeton Road) and follow it to Westminster Street, River Street and Kimball Street following Route 12, a total of 3.8 miles to Rollstone Street. Rollstone Street is approximately 1/2 mile past the Cleghorn rotary. Turn left onto Rollstone Street. At Main Street (approx 1,000 feet) turn right. Main Street will become Boulder Drive, a one-way street, and you'll see the back of City Hall on your left. Turn left onto Wood Place, the first left after the road becomes one way. At the end of Wood Place, turn left onto Main Street. City Hall will be immediately on your left.
From the South
From the Mass Pike, take the Auburn-Worcester exit. Follow I-290 east. Take Interstate 190 just north of the center of Worcester to Route 2 west. One on Route 2, take the "South Street - Merriam Ave" exit off of Route 2. Make a right at the end of the ramp, then an immediate left at the light. Proceed north on Whalon Ave (which becomes South Street) approximately three miles to the end of South Street at Laurel Street. Turn right onto Laurel Street, and then turn left at the light, the Water Street Bridge. At the end of the bridge turn left onto Main Street. City Hall is approximately one-half mile on the left - 718 Main Street.
From the North
Follow Rt. 31 south to the Upper Common, and turn left onto Main Street around the Common. Continue through the lights at Rollstone Street. Main Street will become Boulder Drive, a one-way street, and you'll see the back of City Hall on your left. Turn left onto Wood Place, the first left after the road becomes one way. At the end of Wood Place, turn left onto Main Street. City Hall will be immediately on your left.
