Neighborhoods

Fitchburg is divided into multiple different neighborhoods/villages that each have historical roots in a particular ethnic identity, including:

• Cleghorn - historically French-Canadian
• East Fitchburg
• Rollstone Hill - Finnish granite workers
• South Fitchburg
• Tar Hill
• The Patch - first Irish, then Italian
• Waite's Corner
• West Fitchburg - English and Welsh influences
